Construction manager for steel construction

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage construction sites, ensuring seamless execution of steel construction projects.
  
• Supervise the installation, alignment, and assembly of steel structures in compliance with engineering specifications
  
• Coordinate and oversee subcontractors, suppliers, and trade teams to maintain project timelines and quality
  
• Implement and enforce safety procedures and quality control measures in line with German regulations
  
• Ensure strict adherence to DIN and ISO standards throughout all phases of construction
  
• Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and progress reporting
  
• Act as the primary point of contact for site-level communication with clients, engineers, and project stakeholders
  

Requirements

Requirements:

• Anabin H+ recognized degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Construction Management
  
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in steel construction or structural site management
  
• German language proficiency at B2 or C1 level (mandatory for site operations and client interactions)
  
• Proven experience working with DIN and ISO standards in construction environments
  
• In-depth knowledge of steel fabrication, erection techniques, welding standards, and load-bearing structural systems
  
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage subcontractors, and drive safety-first practices on-site.
  
• Willingness to work full-time in NRW, Germany, with flexibility for on-site presence as required
