Senior UX/UI Designer (m/f/d)

Your Position

We are looking for an experienced UX / UI Designer in Munich, to act as our usability & design ambassador and help bring the user experience of our products to the next level.

Your every day work routine

• You will be responsible from early discovery of new features until production for our web-app & mobile-app. This includes : researching, understanding user flows and processes, developing user journeys, designing wireframes, conducting user testing, and preparing designs for our senior developers.
• Working hand in hand with internal stakeholders and users , you will understand their needs, workflows, and processes, and translate these into mockups.
• Collaborating with our team of senior developers , you will bring these mockups to life.
• As the design ambassador within Lanes & Planes, you will raise awareness of the potential for amazing designs.
• You will work with and expand our Figma Design System to create standardized components.

Your profile

• Having a very strong background in UX (UI is a plus) is essential for this role.
• A very good understanding of business processes and user flows, and the ability to quickly validate them using mockups, is required.
• Enjoying close collaboration with senior developers to discover new features is a key part of this position.
• Feeling comfortable being an ambassador for design within a tech-driven SaaS scale-up and recognizing the opportunities design can bring to the overall user experience is crucial.
• Having the ambition to define the quality standards for future designs across the entire company is important.
• Being comfortable communicating with users in German and developers in English is necessary.
• Open to come 50% of your time to the office is mandatory for this role.
• Experience within the travel industry is a plus.
