Job Title : Head of Medical Affairs, HengRui
Location : Switzerland or Germany
Your Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Country Medical team, fostering a culture of high performance, integrity, and continuous learning.
- Partner with the Country Leadership Team to shape country strategies, bringing clinical insights and therapeutic expertise.
- Develop and implement the annual Country Medical Plan aligned with global strategies and local brand plans.
- Build trusted relationships with medical and scientific experts, healthcare organizations, patient advocacy groups, and regulatory bodies.
- Lead country data generation activities, including evidence gap analysis, real-world evidence, and Investigator-Initiated Studies (IIS).
- Ensure Medical governance, compliance, and oversight of Medical Affairs activities, materials, and processes.
- Provide medical and scientific training to internal teams and ensure effective Medical engagement across stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with commercial and market access teams to support brand strategies and access initiatives.
- Manage the Country Medical budget effectively and ensure alignment with strategic priorities.
- Represent HengRui externally as a respected Medical leader in scientific forums, congresses, and engagements.
Your Experience :
Medical Degree (M.D.) or advanced scientific degree (Ph.D., Pharm.D.).15 years' or more experience in the pharmaceutical industry within Medical Affairs and / or Clinical Development, ideally at both affiliate and HQ levels.At least 5 years of proven people leadership experience in Medical Affairs.Excellent communication skills in both Chinese and English.Strong knowledge of healthcare compliance, regulatory affairs, pharmacovigilance, and quality management.Proven ability to build trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Business acumen with budget management experience.Nice to Have :
5+ years of people leadership experience in Medical Affairs.Experience managing Phase 4 research and publication planning.Strong publication record and engagement with medical societies and scientific communities.
