Location : Berlin
Salary : €42,000-50,000
We're seeking an Account Receivable Specialist to join our client's AR team in Berlin. If you meet the following criteria, we want to hear from you :
- Minimum two years of experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in Excel, including pivots and VLOOKUPs
- Experience with SAP is a plus
- Fluency in English is mandatory; German proficiency is advantageous
- Availability for full-time, on-site work in Berlin
- Possession of a valid visa (not a job seeker / student visa)
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
What you will do :
- Performing billing and collections for the company's Germany locations
- Assisting and supporting the finance team and other departments with member interfaces
- Reviewing invoices and payments on accounts, resolving discrepancies with good judgment
- Supporting members with various financial requests
- Monitoring DSO and improving collection and billing processes
- Participating in monthly book closing processes and revenue recognition
- Analyzing revenues, existing metrics, and KPIs
Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or economics preferred
- Minimum six years of experience in accounts receivables or accounting, with at least two years in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in German and English
- Expertise in Excel and MS Office
- Strong customer service skills
- Experience with SAP B1 and Salesforce is advantageous
