Position Overview :

Brainloop a Diligent brand is seeking an experienced and visionary technical leader to lead its Munich technology operations and drive the modernization of its infrastructure landscape. This is a hybrid role combining technical transformation leadership client-facing engagement and site management responsibilities. The role bridges offers overarching strategic vision of our technology with the delivery focus of a Director of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) ensuring operational excellence cloud transformation and alignment with business objectives.

The Site Leader will oversee the Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and Infrastructure Operations functions managing outsourced data centres and cloud migration projects on AWS ecosystem. Acting as both a local leader and technical authority this person will ensure the reliability scalability and performance of mission-critical systems while fostering innovation and collaboration across teams.

Key responsibilities :

• Execute and oversee the management of outsourced data centers ensuring strong security / compliance alignment.
• Drive and oversee the tech transformation projects including cloud readiness cloud migration to AWS ecosystem.
• Establish and maintain SRE best practices ensuring reliability scalability and operational excellence.
• Act as the executive leader on site ensuring effective communication between global and local teams.
• Drives a culture of operational excellence continuous improvement and customer obsession
• Oversee and optimize relationships with outsourced data center and technology partners.
• Negotiate service levels ensure compliance and manage vendor performance.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Sales Product Security and Operations) to ensure delivery of best-in-class services
• Serve as a technical and commercial interface with key enterprise clients in the DACH region.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear business outcomes for customers and executives.
• Represent Brainloop and Diligent at customer meetings industry events and executive briefings.
