For the procurement of services under this Frame Contract, the required operations engineering support activities are described in missions specific WPDs. The WPD defines the different tasks related to the phases, roles and disciplines as applicable for the respective mission.
The main support services required are in the following areas :
- Spacecraft Telemetrie retrieval, processing, and monitoring
- Prediction of spacecraft state (attitude, mass, modes, AOCS parameters)
- Generation of spacecraft Telecommanding files
- Spacecraft sensor calibration (Star Tracker, Sun Sensor, Magnetometer, Gyros)
Qualifications
University degree in a relevant engineering field, astronomy, mathematics or physicsVery good skills in linear algebra, in particular for problem solving related to geometry in the Euclidean 3–dimensional space.Very good skills in calculus in one or several variables.Skills in numerical methodsVery good skills in classical mechanicsAbility to solve mechanics problems via analytical mechanics methods ( Lagrangian formulation) is a valuable asset.Ability to define, implement, validate and operate software which applies the above solutions (using Unix and / or Linux scripting languages, Fortran 77 and / or 95, Python, C++)Will to take operational responsibility in multi-discipline teamsFluency in English, both in speech and writing
