(Senior) Pricing Actuary (d/f/m)

Your Role
As a (Senior) Pricing Actuary you will lead a staff member, also being part of a team and reporting to the Head of P&C International Pricing.
Responsibility for setting default and benchmark parameters for the international treaty business in property and casualty insurance;
strengthening the feedback process between historical performance metrics and the determination of prospective pricing parameters in all major P&C business lines
- Responsibility for the organisation of pricing reviews, development and application of the pricing control framework, including compliance with guidelines and training
- Contribute to the conceptual and technical development of new and improvement of existing property and casualty pricing tools;
this includes contributing to the improvement and refinement of pricing methodologies and benchmark models
- Supporting the conception and design of performance metrics and their connection to the pricing tools
- Supporting quantitative risk management, including the determination of target margins and the further development of underlying capital models
- Pricing for complex reinsurance structures and supporting local underwriters in this task
- Contribute to the use and implementation of AI in Gen Re's own pricing and performance measurement applications
Your Profile
- Degree in mathematics / statistics or a similar subject.
- Ideally at least 5 years of professional experience in (re)insurance, preferably in pricing in property and casualty insurance, with a completed actuarial training at a recognised association (DAV / IFoA / Cas / etc.)
- Very good knowledge of Excel and proven experience with programming languages such as R or Python
- Fluent in English; knowledge of German desirable
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Teamplayer with an affinity for sustainable networking and an eye for detail, whoalso achieves excellent results independently and actively seeks improvementsto current processes
