RAD Area Manager, RDE1

The OperationsTechnology Solutions Supply Chain organization manages and isresponsible for a wide variety of hardware testing and deployment,new device launches and project initiatives that cross businessteams and operations groups within Amazon Fulfillment IT. • Steer all warehouse flowactivities - receive, stow, pick, pack, provision, RMA
• Steer alldock flow activities – IB and OB
• Allocate daily and weekly RADSupport AA resources to meet demand
• Coordinate incoming andoutgoing trucks in coordination with dock team
• Monitor weekly anddaily forecast vs. capacity for all standard RAD operative tasks
• Troubleshoot and support RAD Support AAs in all daily activities
• Ensure of correct processing of requests in DSCS
• Inventorymanagement
• Monitor and report on defined KPIs
• Steer ICQAactivities within RDE1 - Weekly cycle counts, Inventorymaintenance, Physical storage maintenance (5s, etc.)
• Monitoringof threshold levels using DSCS and inventory dashboards
• Inventorybalancing between 3PL and RAD
• Enforce safety guidelines andexecute H&S audits
• Ensuring a clean and safe work environmentfor the whole team
• Cooperating in diverse team with rapidlychanging priorities in an ambiguous environment
• Standing and / orwalking during a minimum 8 hour shift
• Lift up to 35 pounds andfrequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
• Work in anenvironment that is subject to variable temperatures and weatherKey job responsibilities
• Create, oversee, and drive a culture ofsafety and wellbeing
• Analyze and implement changes to keepquality and productivity at a consistently high level
• Overseeprojects to streamline processes, optimize productivity andincrease quality of service for customers within your area ofresponsibility
• Analyze shift performance against relevantbusiness objectives, and put in place actions to improve ouroperational excellence
• Work collaboratively with management-levelcolleagues to standardize global practices
• Build and maintain ahigh performing team
• Develop Associates and Process Leadsaccording to their individual strength and build a consistenttalent pipeline GRUNDQUALIFIKATIONEN
• You have a completedmaster’s degree or 5+ years of Amazon experience
• You takeownership in your work and team and are available to work overtimeduring Amazon’s peak holiday season and as needed year-round.
• Youare flexible to work on any type of assigned shift (nights,weekends, etc.).
• You pride yourself in leading others; you havedirect management experience and have been responsible for youremployees’ performance.
• You have an eye for efficiency and haveexperience identifying and executing process improvementinitiatives
• You are able to deep dive into a problem statementand independently derive necessary actions based on data drivenstructured analysis
