Position : BESS Project Manager

About the company :

A provider for photovoltaic power plants and equipment is looking for a new member for their project delivery team.

The job requires both a mix of project management and engineering for our customers, focused primarily on battery storage equipment projects . You will be part of an international team spanning across the globe. Your daily work will be a key driver in the renewable energy transition.

Tasks :

  • Manage customer projects, focusing on battery storage in PV plants and stand-alone systems.
  • Handle scheduling, logistics, team leadership, customer communication, consulting, reporting, and billing.
  • Oversee multiple work packages including design, procurement, inspection, construction supervision, due diligence, and performance analysis.
  • Conduct analysis, inspections, simulations, testing, and design as needed.
  • Manage project resources both in-office and on-site.
  • Prepare and review final reports to ensure customer objectives are met.
  • Communicate project details and follow-up activities with customers.
  • Assist the sales team with proposals for battery storage systems.
  • Provide internal training on battery storage systems.

Requirements :

  • Degree in electrical engineering is mandatory.
  • Expertise in battery energy storage systems, including design, sizing, and equipment selection.
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in battery storage projects.
  • Experience with project management and designing battery storage systems using software like Homer.
  • Ability to manage complex tasks and multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel internationally.
  • Adherence to industry norms and standards.
  • Excellent technical writing skills.
  • Fluency in English ; additional languages are a plus.

    • Preferably located in Berlin but open to candidates based in other cities of Germany !
