Strothoff International School is a bilingual, international school. In our pedagogical concept, we follow both the Hessian education plan and the international IB curriculum. On our family-friendly and modern campus in Dreieich (near Frankfurt), we offer around 360 children and young people access to German-English language acquisition, starting in nursery, according to the immersion method. Within the framework of our international and diverse campus community, our pedagogical team in the nursery, primary school and secondary school supports our students in growing up to become independent, open-minded and globally thinking young people.

Your Responsibilities

Providing support to the Head of Kindergarten regarding the following tasks : Organising and supervising the pedagogical and administrative processes and tasksEnsuring that the Phorms concept is fully integrated into the daily pedagogical work with the children, continuous review, and further development of the educational programmeClose collaboration with the parents, particularly during parent meetingsCollaboration with the Phorms primary school to ensure a smooth transition to the primary schoolScheduling of shifts and cover plans, including the coordination of time recording

Representation of the Head of Kindergarten (if required)

Teaching children in a playful manner to support their development towards independence and social integration

Your Profile

We seek an enthusiastic, open-minded member for our leadership team who enjoys working with children and wants to join a high performing, dedicated faculty in an international setting.

You are an Educator, ideally state-recognized by German regulations or you hold a comparable recognised qualification

Ideally you have gathered several years of professional experience in a kindergarten or a similar work environment

You have a profound pedagogical knowledge and are experienced in the field of parental work

You possess an organised and structured working style, as well as excellent communication skills

You demonstrate a high level of commitment and flexibility and are open-minded

You have a good knowledge of German or English (at least B1, proof required)
