As the Head of People (m / f / d) , you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our People strategy, fostering a culture that attracts and nurtures top talent, and driving performance excellence across the organization. You will lead a dynamic People team, guiding them to support our ambitious growth plans while ensuring the development and well-being of our employees. Your role in a team : Lead the People Department, setting the strategic direction, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring the strategy is executed effectively. Lead, mentor, and support the professional growth of the People team, enhancing team performance, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Oversee hiring talent, strengthen our company culture, and ensure the development of employees to align with organizational goals. Take ownership of relevant business KPIs, continuously question how we can improve, and drive initiatives to enhance performance. Foster strong relationships across departments to ensure alignment, efficient communication, and fast execution of people-related projects. Manage employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution processes to maintain a positive work environment. Ensure adherence to employment laws and regulations, maintaining the highest standards of HR practices. Requirements Professional Experience : At least 5+ years of experience in People & HR, including a minimum of 3 years in a senior leadership role such as Head of People. Proven success in building scalable People operations, leading teams, and driving organization-wide initiatives. Demonstrated experience in scaling organizations, particularly in a startup or scale-up environment, with experience growing to over 300 FTEs. Key Skills : Strong leadership and team management skills with a passion for developing and mentoring others. Experience in managing employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution. Expertise in talent acquisition and people operations within a fast-growing company. Ability to work cross-functionally with diverse teams and ensure alignment across the business. Languages : German : Business-fluent English : Business-fluent Benefits Why getolo?
