Legal Counsel (m/f/x)

For our department Affaires Juridiques within General Services, we are looking for a (an):

Legal Counsel (m/f/x)

Main duties:

• Draft/review and negotiate a wide variety of commercial contracts, with a particular focus on transportation agreements, IT agreements, services agreements, maintenance agreements and marketing agreements
• Provide legal advice and recommendations on a large variety of legal topics (e.g. transport law, commercial law, consumer law, IT/IP law, Insurance law, labour law, data protection law)
• Manage disputes and claims with third parties
• Manage the relationships with law firms
• Monitor, manage and draft template agreements and group policies
• Develop and provide legal and compliance training to the business
• Assist, coordinate and give advice in various projects
• Administration and contract management
• Occasionally give support to other team members

Required profile:

Minimum required criteria:

• Master’s degree in law ideally with specialization in transport/tourism or insurance
• 3 to 5 years of experience in commercial contracts, gained as a lawyer or as an in-house legal counsel
• Experience in transport/tourism and insurance law
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English as well as skills in German (spoken and written)
• Business minded and problem solver
• Able to communicate at any level of the company and to explain complex legal issues in a comprehensible language
• Flexible, stress resistant and have a positive attitude
• Team player and have the capacity to work autonomously
• Well organized and result-oriented

Desired or to be acquired criteria:

• Specialization in transport or insurance law

The ideal candidate:

• Knowledge of Luxemburgish or any other language is considered as asset
