What you'll do
- As a Supply Chain Management Project Manager (f / m / d), you will be responsible for analyzing and implementing optimization potential across Central and Northern Europe
- Applying methodical approaches to identify optimization opportunities in our logistics processes (warehousing, loading, picking) will be one of your main tasks
- You’ll drive automation and digitalization in the warehouses (e.g., implementation of global warehouse and yard management standards, picking automation, AGVs, etc.)
- You'll lead project teams, manage the change process, be responsible for communication (e.g. steering committees) and documentation of project progress, moreover you ll proactively support sites in Central and Northern Europe with requests, challenges and projects related to warehousing, picking and loading
- To develop supply chain strategies and follow up on project status, you will work with central functions, divisional and plant managers
- Last but not least : you will develop regional supply chain standards, drive the networking of the regional warehousing community and act as an interface between the Technical Directorate and the regional and global supply chain organization
Who you are
- You have successfully completed a degree in engineering, industrial engineering or business administration with a focus on logistics / supply chain management and have several years' experience in operational project management (with a focus on warehousing and / or transport)
- In previous roles you ve demonstrated success in performance improvement and initial experience in occupational health and safety
- Knowledge of methodical process optimization (e.g. Six Sigma Green Belt) is one of your key strengths, knowledge of SAP EWM would be advantageous
- You are a true team player with strong analytical skills and a structured, proactive and solution-oriented hands-on approach
- Communication in English and German is no problem and you are willing to travel internationally (Central and Northern Europe)
