Activity Leaders are responsible for delivering fun and engaging activities and excursions to a group of international students following Alpadias approach to language immersion and experiential learning. In this role youll be responsible for running Creative Arts programs 3 afternoons / week. In general you will be working closely with other Activity Leaders and Teachers ensuring our students have a meaningful time in camp full of learning and personal growth while offering expert supervision and safety. Additionally youll take an active role in the daytoday operations of camp via attendance checks helping out during wakeups and bedtime and leading campwide Evening Programs.
Qualifications : Essential Criteria
- Experience working with children or young people in a professional capacity
- Demonstrated skills in the field of Art Education or teaching art / creative workshops
- Some German proficiency (spoken B1B2 minimum) ability to learn activityspecific vocabulary to ensure language immersion
- Fluency in English
- High physical mental and emotional resilience ability to work 6days a week 12 hours a day
- Experience in meaningful professional teamwork
- High energy level excitement and comfort speaking in front of large groups
- Availability during staff training in Berlin (June 1620) and at least 5 weeks of the summer.
