MAJOR FUNCTION
The Environmental Service Technician performs custodial care for College buildings and premises. TCC’s Exposure Control Plan (ECP) governs the College’s compliance with OSHA standards and is applicable to all employees who have occupational exposure to blood borne pathogens. The College has identified this position as having occupational exposure to blood borne pathogens. At-risk employees, where occupational exposure is reasonably anticipated, will be offered the HBV vaccination at no cost.
Primary duties will include, but not limited to :
Vacuums and dusts conference room, employee dining room, offices, and classrooms.
Mops floors; cleans and sanitizes restrooms; cleans doorways, windows and blinds; replaces supplies and empties trash.
Assists in set ups and moving furniture.
Cleans and dusts.
Maintains and stores equipment and order supplies for area.
MINIMUM TRAINING / EXPERIENCE : Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent and demonstration of sufficient communication skills to safely and effectively perform service functions. M ust have a valid driver license.
