Your tasks:
The Sales Engineer supports customers in Thailand by providing product selection and technical advice for our Energy & process cooling portfolio. The position combines technical expertise with practical requirements from the field to ensure that customers receive accurate recommendations and reliable solutions. While communication with customers and commercial preparation are part of the workflow, technical responsibility remains the primary focus.
- Sales and Market DevelopmentCoordination with existing customers and developing new customers.Market research to identify new trends, needs and potential clients.
- Technical/ Engineering SupportResponding to technical questions from customers via email or phone.Providing technical advice and participating in technical discussions with customers.Creating technical calculation and documentation.Inquiry to price calculation (PCA) in coordination with EPC office.
- Quotation and Order ProcessingAnalyze customer requirements to design suitable products based on application and site conditions, while coordinating with the factory to ensure the solutions are technically feasible.Prepare and follow up quotations for standard and special projects.Work closely with the factory to ensure smooth order processing.Communicate any necessary clarifications or missing information from customers to avoid delays or discrepancies.
- After-salesSupport after-sales activities, including troubleshooting and root cause analysis.Follow up on progress and coordinate actions with the service team to ensure timely resolution.
- Additional ResponsibilitiesOther ad hoc duties assigned.
Your skills:
- Good written and spoken English skills are essential.
- Degree or Diploma, preferably in mechanical or electrical engineering course of study.
- Experience in thermodynamics or heat transfer engineering sales preferred. Any experience in power generation, data centre sector and/ or heat exchanger design & sales will be valuable.
- Knowledge of technical calculation tools, and basic CAD.
- Strong communication skills for conducting technical meetings, preparing documentation, and providing email support.
- Analytical thinking with a focus on accuracy, technical quality, and structured problem solving.
- Customer-oriented approach: confident in dealing with technical issues.
- Organized, reliable, and able to manage and consistently follow up on multiple projects simultaneously.
