The " Operations Controller / Production Controller (m / f / d)" is responsible for planning, controlling, and accurately recording production costs, inventory accounts, and investments within the company's operations.

You will explain key variances from target results and manufacturing management objectives, supporting decisions that help propel the company to the next level. As a direct link between the finance department and the plant production functions, you are a crucial member of the Munich team, providing significant support for the facility and offering recommendations to enhance site performance.

As an exciting and pivotal interface between Accounting - IT - Audit - Executive Management, this role holds substantial potential for future growth within the company structure.

Aufgabengebiet

  • Support the production management team with specific, detailed analysis and evaluations
  • Play a key role in the annual standard costing process and ensure the integrity of the standard costs
  • Develop the annual manufacturing budget, as well as monthly forecasts and reporting
  • Analyze and explain monthly manufacturing variances and operational cost variances against the plan, while developing and supporting suitable corrective measures
  • Analyze inventory and capital expenditures and validate the adequacy of inventory reserves
  • Efficiently and reliably close monthly accounts to ensure the reliability of costs and consistency of analytical data
  • Identify opportunities to reduce production costs
  • Provide support in transfer pricing matters
  • Foster close collaboration with internal stakeholders to improve operational efficiency and to be prepared for future topics / projects
  • Support internal and external audits with queries
  • Participate in important and interesting projects, which are typically on an international basis with your stakeholders at other sites

Anforderungsprofil

  • Successfully completed studies in finance or a comparable qualification
  • Initial or several years of experience in controlling within a manufacturing company and in a similar role
  • Experience in cost accounting and standard product costing, particularly in the evaluation of bills of materials (BOM) and production cycles, is desirable
  • You bring a strong work ethic and are accustomed to high-performance standards
  • Ability to analyze financial issues, summarise, and communicate effectively at all levels
  • Team-oriented personality, capable of building solid relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Highly organised with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, especially SAP and Excel
  • Conversational German language skills and fluent English (both written and spoken)
