The Embassy of India, Berlin invites applications from eligible and motivated candidates for the position of Marketing Assistant.
Position Details:
• Job Title: Marketing Assistant
• Location: Berlin

• Joining: Immediately
• Starting Salary: €4,686 per month (gross)
• The Embassy will pay the employer share of the German Social Security package.
• The remuneration package includes statutory leave benefits.
• Carry out administrative functions and assist with official visits and delegations.
• Translate documents (German–English and English–German) and provide interpretation support as required.
• Support the Head of Wing in liaison work with German authorities.
• Research, source, and compile information from open sources.
• Plan, organize, and execute events hosted by the Mission.
• Perform general office duties, including filing, maintaining records, and ensuring timely updates.
• Support the organization of trade and investment promotional events.
• Prepare briefs, fact sheets, and content for the EOI website.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual economic and commercial reports.
• Manage social media activities.
• Respond to trade-related inquiries and process trade disputes.
• Handle correspondence and communications in a timely manner.
• Undertake additional tasks as assigned.• Assisting with matters related to the Indian community.
• Translating documents (German–English and English–German) and providing interpretation support as required.
• Researching, sourcing, and compiling information from open sources.
• Planning, organizing, and executing events hosted by the Mission.
• Performing general office duties, including filing, maintaining records, and ensuring timely updates.
• Undertaking any other tasks as assigned.
Desirable Qualifications:
1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline or equivalent vocational qualification.
2. Language Proficiency:
• Desirable proficiency in German (B2 Level).
• Excellent written and spoken English skills.
3. Residence Status:
• German / EU / Indian citizen (with valid work and residence permit).
• Student visa holders are not eligible to apply.
4. Computer & IT Skills: Proficiency in MS Office; basic understanding of computer hardware is
desirable.
5. Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience is desirable.
6. Age: Between 21 and 35 years.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a tactful and professional approach.
• Analytical and structured working style with high reliability and proactive attitude.
• Skilled in managing diverse responsibilities simultaneously.
• Team-oriented with flexibility and commitment.
