We’re now hiring a Business Development Manager – MICE & Groups to join our dynamic European team. This role will ideally be based from Berlin, Frankfurt or Vienna. (CVs to be submitted in English only please). Benefits: Flexible working patterns Bonus scheme that rewards high performers;- based on our core values and tied to individual property goals Discounted rates for overnight stays for you, and your family and friends Refer and earn scheme – earn up to £/€550 Education Support to help you foster new skills Volunteer days: 2 paid volunteer days per year EAP: Support for you and your family when you need it with our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) We would love you to have: Minimum 5+ years’ experience in hotel or aparthotel sales, with a strong focus on MICE and/or groups Demonstrable experience in the German-speaking market (essential) Fluency in English and German Proven track record in proactive business development and pipeline generation Strong network within the MICE / agency landscape in the DACH region Commercial mindset with the ability to convert opportunities into revenue Familiarity with systems such as Salesforce, Opera, IDEAS, Agency360 or LinkedIn Sales Navigator A fiercely proactive and can-do attitude A willingness to travel when needed – this role will involve frequent travel within Germany and Austria What you can do for us: · Act as a key commercial contact for MICE agencies and group organisers across the DACH region, building strong and lasting relationships · Proactively generate new MICE and group business across multiple destinations within the portfolio · Build, manage and convert a strong pipeline of event, trade fair and group opportunities · Position Staycity and Wilde as preferred partners within the MICE and group segment · Represent the company at trade shows, networking events and industry platforms · Work closely with local sales teams and operational teams to ensure strong conversion and successful delivery · Lead and support sales activities across the region, including roadshows, presentations and client engagement initiatives · Ensure timely and competitive proposals in collaboration with internal teams, with a clear focus on revenue and profitability · Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline and performance within CRM systems · Continuously identify new business opportunities and contribute to the overall growth of the segment Join us and be part of the journey.
