Hauptaufgaben

*Manages and oversees the Utility Monitoring and Control System, which includes system administration, programming, updates, and training staff.

*Acts as the Contracting Officer's Representative for the Building Management System, with responsibility for monitoring contract operations.

*Performs construction management and inspection of mechanical systems, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and plumbing.

*Reviews and inspects all phases of construction to ensure compliance with contract schedules, specifications, and quality standards.

*Develops and prepares design concepts, studies, and cost estimates for maintenance and repair projects.

*Identifies facility project requirements by conducting on-site surveys and interviewing facility users.

*Investigates construction problems and deficiencies, finds solutions, and negotiates change orders with contractors.

*Reviews architect-engineer and in-house designs and contract documents to ensure technical adequacy and conformance to codes.

*Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifikationsanforderungen

C1-0802-06:
Any 2-year apprenticeship with focus on engineering/ construction/ architecture methods and techniques PLUS 2 years of job-related experience.

C1-0802-6A:
Any 2-year apprenticeship with focus on engineering/ construction/ architecture methods and techniques PLUS 3 years of job-related experience.

C1-0802-07:
Any 2-year apprenticeship with focus on engineering/ construction/ architecture methods and techniques PLUS 4 years of job-related experience.

Job Related Experience:
Experience must be directly related to the area of specialization of the position and must be at a level of difficulty that compares to the grade of the position to be filled. Advanced journeyman trades and crafts experience that provided intensive knowledge of engineering principles, techniques, methods, and precedents is a prerequisite (for example, experience as a technician, instructor, inspector, or mechanic that shows progression in theoretical and practical knowledge of the area of specialization of the position).
