About the job Mercor connects elite creative and technical talent with leading AI research labs. Position: Energy System Experts Type: Contract Compensation: $40–$100/hour Location: Remote Role Responsibilities Evaluate the accuracy and depth of AI-generated content in energy systems to strengthen reasoning and rigor in model outputs . Review transmission system expansion planning for alignment with domain principles and methodologies. Provide clear, structured feedback to improve training data quality and downstream performance in power distribution . Develop evaluation rubrics and benchmarks for assessing power flow simulations . Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure consistency, relevance, and coverage across datasets. Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while improving AI model performance . Qualifications Must-Have Expertise in transmission system expansion planning . Experience with transmission system operations including power flow simulations . Knowledge of power distribution system asset management and field inspection .
