Your area of work:
Clearstream Banking Europe’s (CEU) core applications are based on mainframe technology and serve customers, CSD’s, ICSD’s and other financial institutions for the Issuance and settlement of domestic and international securities.
Your responsibilities:
- Functional specification
- Technical specification and technical design
- Implementation of requirements
- Module-, Integration- and Systemtesting
- Support for Business Acceptance Testing
- Implementation and Transition Control
- Basic Project Management Skills
- 2nd Level Production Support
Your profile:
- The technical requirements for the environment of the mainframe applications and work products are: Operating Systems und Systems Software: OS / 390, MVS and TSO / ISPF Data Management: DB 2, sequential files with focus on DB 2 Transaction Monitoring: IMS DC 3270 Screens Programming Languages: COBOL II, Enterprise COBOL and Easytrieve Other Tools: JCL, EDB (Data Manager, MSP Dictionary), SWT01, SWT04, SWT05 (Program, mask and dialogue program generator with focus on SWT01 and SWT05), Boole & Babbage, Panvalet und TSCM (Source Code Management), BETA 92 (Job Log), CA7 (Job Scheduler)
- Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Teams, Sharepoint)
- AI Tools like Daisy, CodeRevive for COBOL, GitHub CoPilot for various models (GPT, Gemini, Claude, etc.)
- Good communication, analytical and problem solving skills
- Team player behavior with a good social competence
- Fluent in both written and spoken German and English is a must
