Project Engineer, Hamburg

Linum Consult’s client is an international main contractor, urgently seeking an immediately available Project Engineer with a strong background in concrete projects to join their team on a substantial infrastructure project near Hamburg. Rotation is 6 weeks on, 2 weeks off, with a 6-day work week.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinating, monitoring, and managing all concrete-related activities on the project site
• Overseeing the progress of rebar installation, formwork, concrete pouring, and inspections
• Maintaining active alignment with the client during inspections and acting as the key interface between the company, subcontractors, and client
• Preparing and monitoring the concrete works schedule
• Coordinating daily and weekly site activities
• Identifying and mitigating bottlenecks
• Ensuring the timely ordering of concrete, and aligning logistics with offshore and site operations

PROFILE

• At least 5-8 years’ experience in civil engineering, with a demonstrable background in concrete works on large-scale projects
• Strong skills in coordination, planning, and communication
• History of working in complex and dynamic site environments, with the ability to manage multiple subcontractors
• Familiarity with ITPs, WMS, and execution-driven projects
• Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English
