BUSINESS UNIT

Our value proposition in Procurement Solutions initiates and completes the supply chain of: Intelligent Procurement, Smart Booking and Invisible Payment. It aims to achieve a continuous, cyclic optimization in such supply chain. Within, we initialize the preferred program's optimization with the ingestion of all internal and external spend and behavioral data associated with the customer's hospitality activities. Based on the consolidated data we develop a market strategy for the customer and deliver an optimized hotel program recommendation that mitigates direct and indirect cost factors as well as the increase of the traveler's satisfaction. Once the optimal hotel program is aligned with the customer, we initiate the negotiation with suppliers to contractually agree on the best conditions to be supplied within the optimal hotel program, compliant to renewed procurement strategy, before then ensuring its full and correct availability across booking channels and adherence in financial reconciliation.

POSITION

As a Senior Program Consultant at HRS, you act as the strategic advisor and performance driver for our global enterprise clients. You own the entire travel spend of your customer - across Transient, Meetings & Groups, and Longstay - ensuring that travel management aligns with their business objectives in Savings, Traveler Satisfaction, Sustainability, and Compliance. You are the key enabler of HRS' industry-first AI-powered Copilot Platform, guiding customers step by step and ensuring they can interact with the AI purposefully to achieve their defined goals.

You drive measurable value creation by connecting business goals to data and insights. You strengthen the customer relationship by leading local negotiations with preferred suppliers in your market, optimizing customer-specific hotel programs. You also deepen customer engagement by expanding HRS' footprint within the account, directly contributing to upsell and cross-sell success.

CHALLENGE

• You take full ownership of your customer's total travel spend - across all categories (Transient, Meetings & Groups, Longstay) and both managed and unmanaged spend.
• You map and manage key stakeholders within the customer's organization - across markets, business units, and functions - to build a strong internal network and identify expansion opportunities.
• You consult the customer on strategic goals in key dimensions like savings, traveler satisfaction, sustainability, and compliance.
• You lead the negotiation process for the customer's individual hotel program (RFP) and you conduct targeted re-negotiations with hotels in key destinations to achieve optimal outcomes for the customer.
• You guide the customer through HRS' Copilot AI platform, acting as a change agent who ensures that "next best actions" are understood, adopted, and executed effectively to optimize against set targets
• With your holistic understanding of the customer's spend, you support the Customer Success Manager in upsell and cross-sell initiatives, grounding every recommendation in performance data and insights.

• Strong negotiation capabilities - experienced in leading commercial discussions with suppliers and procurement stakeholders.
• Customer-centric mindset - you understand client needs, speak their business language, and connect strategic objectives with measurable results.
• Project management skills - structured, goal-oriented, and comfortable driving complex cross-functional initiatives.
• Analytical and insight-driven approach - you leverage AI-generated data and insights to interpret results and guide customers.
• Fluent in German and in English; other languages are a plus.
• Experience in travel-related industries in particular for enterprise B2B clients is a plus

LOCATION, MOBILITY, INCENTIVE

This position will be located in Cologne or Berlin. The attractive remuneration is in line with the market and, in addition to a fixed monthly salary, all necessary work equipment and mobility, will also include an annual or multi-year bonus.
