The Role

Kyndryl Germany supports large scale, mission critical IT and operations environments for banks and insurance companies. As AI capabilities increasingly influence how IT platforms and operations are designed and run, there is a need to understand how these developments impact future large transformation and managed service deals in the German market.

Objective of the Role

The role supports a time bound, analytical workstream focused on understanding how Agentic AI and AI enabled operations influence the future shape of large IT transformation programs in the German banking and insurance market, with a clear link to Kyndryl’s existing infrastructure and operations business.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze current infrastructure and operations delivery models used by Kyndryl Germany in large Financial Services engagements
• Conduct structured research on AI driven operational and platform trends relevant to regulated German banks and insurers
• Assess how Agentic AI impacts IT operations, resilience, governance, and long term platform ownership (not product development)
• Identify and describe 3–5 realistic future large deal archetypes (>100 M€) that align with Kyndryl’s operating model
• Prepare structured presentations and executive level summaries for internal discussion

Who You Are

• Currently enrolled as a Bachelor’s or Master’s student, preferably in mathematics, computer science, natural sciences, engineering, or a related field
• First practical experience gained through internships, working student roles, or academic projects
• Confident user of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent communication skills with very good German and English proficiency (written and spoken)
• Structured, self-reliant, and proactive working style with an entrepreneurial mindset
• Flexible, curious, and creative, with openness to change and the ability to develop and propose innovative ideas
• Team-oriented, integrative
