Global Supply Chain Project Manager (m/w/d)

The Supply Chain Manager (mfd) for Cytiva Cologne is responsible for
managing and continuously improve the entire supply chain, starting from
procurement and ending with the support of shipments.

- What you will do :
- Be in charge of the supply chain organization on Cologne s site and logistics related operation & being involved in the projects to optimize the current processes
- End to end procurement activities from creating purchase orders till marking goods services as received on iProcurement
- Coordinate ordering of stocks from suppliers to ensure timely availability and proper stocks allocation; manage subcontractor communication and coordinate paperwork
- End to end order management from receipt of purchase order till arrival at customer site; manage inventory of finished goods and raw materials
- Organize outgoing shipments of research material to customer
- Review existing operations procedure and identify possible areas for improvement
- Who you are :
- Bachelor s or master’s degree in supply chain, Engineering, IT, or Business
- Minimum 5 years of experience from working with sourcing procurement customer service logistics role
- Knowledge of supply chain that include drop ship models, export, transportation, and import and export terminology. Know how about the import of biological substances is a plus
- Motivated to build a supply chain system from current semi-manual processes to fit into the bigger Cytiva organization
- Project management and change management experience
- Fluent in English & German written and spoken; strong communication skills
- It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in :
- Experience in Oracle or related application such as SAP
- Experience of working in the field of Life Science industry logistics
