Sales Director
Sales Director - Germany - BESS and Inverters.
Following a very positive meeting at InterSolar this year, I'm now collaborating again with an exciting client who are doing great things in the European Energy Storage market.
Their growth plans for the next 2-4 years are very encouraging, and the first key step in that in this position.
Right now, I'm looking to speak with Sales Directors, who want to join a growing business and is willing to take them through the next steps of their growth.
This company manufacturer their products, and their portfolio includes C&I scale storage solutions, inverters, residential storage and all in one hybrid solutions.
Currently they have a team of sales staff active across Europe, with the core focus being on; DACH, UK and the Nordics.
The responsibilities for this role would include :
- Developing and executing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Developing market expansion strategies for the full product portfolio.
- Securing long-lasting relationships with installers, distributors and wholesalers across both Germany and wider Europe.
- Performing key market analysis reports, to ensure continuous growth across Europe.
- Collaborating closely with marketing, product development and back office teams, to ensure the best options for success.
- Managing the sales team across Europe, to develop high-performing sales teams, with clear guidance and support, but also set targets.
- Close contact sales with key accounts and customers across Europe.
Due to the seniority of the role, I will be looking to speak to people with the following requirements :
- Over 7 years of sales experience within renewable energy, ideally BESS.
- Minimum of 2 years leadership experience with a minimum of 5 FTE.
- Strong technical background.
- Established network of installers, distributors and developers, across Germany, but also ideally across Europe.
- Fluent in German and English, other European languages are a big plus.
- Passion for supporting and developing members of your team.
