The AGC Biologics GmbH Downstream-Processing department in Heidelberg is searching for a motivated student for a challenging master thesis project. The student will work in the field of microbial fermentation (USP) and chromatographic purification with a focus on downstream process development (DSP). This current master thesis topic is confidential and therefore named neutral:
Best clone screening
Improving a fermentation strategy in E. coli
Development and optimizing of a purification process
Monitoring safety related impurities
Determining the activity of the process protein
AGC is searching for a master student with background in biotechnology or related fields who is eager to contribute to innovative solutions in the industry. The master thesis is designed to last 6 months.
The master thesis project can start in August / September 2026.
