Role Overview

We are looking for a Working Student in Software Quality Assurance to help us build a culture of quality across our web-based tool ecosystem. You will work alongside our development team tovalidatenew features catch defects early and helpestablisha sustainable automated test suite contributing directly to tools used in high-impact semiconductor test engineering workflows. As our web-based tools grow in scope and user base structured testing and test automation have become essential tomaintainingquality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Executefunctional regression and exploratory testing on new and existing features across our web applications.

• Develop andmaintainautomated tests at unit integration and end-to-end level using modern test frameworks.

• Document defects with clear reproduction steps and collaborate with developers on resolutions.

• Contribute to acceptance criteria and test plans for upcoming feature releases.

• Support CI pipeline health and release readiness activities.

• Participate in code reviews and team quality discussions bringing a structured testing perspective.
  

Required Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in Computer Science Software Engineering Information Systems ora related field.

• Proficiencyin Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript for writing andmaintainingtest scripts.

• Hands-on experience with Git and standard software development workflows.

• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail able toidentifyedge cases and reproduce defects reliably.

• Good written and spoken English for cross-functional collaboration across Munich and international sites.

Preferred Qualifications

• Initial experience with test frameworks such aspytest PlaywrightVitest or Selenium (at least 1 framework preferred).

• Basic understanding of REST APIs and database structures for backend validation.

• Exposure to CI/CD environments (e.g. GitHub Actions Jenkins or similar).
