In this capacity you will assume total ownership of the payroll ecosystem for a dedicated client base ensuring uncompromising accuracy and regulatory compliance.

• Portfolio Management: Independently execute monthly salary cycles for a diverse workforce of approximatelyemployees across various sectors.
• Regulatory Governance: Act as the primary liaison for all mandatory filings and communications with social security carriers and federal tax authorities.
• Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as a senior consultant for clients providing authoritative guidance on complex German labor wage tax and social insurance statutes.
• Data Stewardship: Oversee the integrity of employee master data and perform systematic quality audits within the payroll architecture.
• Audit Leadership: Spearhead year-end closing procedures and provide expert representation during external audits including German Pension Insurance reviews.
• Operational Evolution: Facilitate the seamless onboarding of new clients and contribute to the continuous optimization of our proprietary digital processes.

THE IDEAL PROFILE: ANALYTICAL RIGOR & FISCAL EXPERTISE

• Professional Foundation: Completion of a commercial apprenticeship (or equivalent) supplemented by a minimum of 2 years of specialized experience in German payroll accounting.
• Legal Command: Comprehensive up-to-date knowledge of current German wage tax and social security regulations.
• Linguistic Authority: Native or near-native mastery of German (C1) is mandatory for high-level consulting and regulatory correspondence.
• Technical Literacy: High digital proficiency; while experience with SBS Lohn is a significant advantage a general aptitude for payroll software and MS Office is required.
