Hauptaufgaben
Program Coordination & Stakeholder Liaison
• Manage student allocations, resolve complex registration conflicts, and negotiate quotas with Course Directors and senior leadership (e.g., HQ NATO/SHAPE).
• Provide authoritative policy guidance, lead the STAR team during urgent requests, and deliver training/validation for junior staff.
• Maintain tracking systems (such as NIS) to optimize seat utilization and manage sensitive correspondence.
Data Analysis & Reporting
• Gather and analyze student registration data to identify trends, shortfalls, and demographic patterns.
• Produce detailed statistical reports, summaries, and information papers (e.g., attendance and national participation) for NSO leadership and SHAPE HQ.
• Interpret data to provide recommendations for process and policy improvements.
Process Documentation & Continuous Improvement
• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and desk guides for registration.
• Identify procedural bottlenecks and propose efficiency solutions to the supervisor.
• Assist in testing and validating new features in the student database to reduce processing errors.
Performs other duties as assigned.

C-0301-5A:
MINIMUM Hauptschulabschluss (E&T Level I) PLUS 2 years of clerical experience PLUS 2 years of job related experience.
Current employees who do not meet E&T Level I and who are not in the same or similar occupation must have 2 additional years of clerical experience.
Current employees who have served one year in the same or similar occupation are qualified for the next higher grade.
C-0301-06:
MINIMUM Hauptschulabschluss (E&T Level I) PLUS 2 years of clerical experience PLUS 3 years of job related experience.
Current employees who do not meet E&T Level I and who are not in the same or similar occupation must have 2 additional years of clerical experience.
Current employees who have served one year in the same or similar occupation are qualified for the next higher grade.
C-0301-6A:
MINIMUM Hauptschulabschluss (E&T Level I) PLUS 2 years of clerical experience PLUS 4 years of job related experience.
Current employees who do not meet E&T Level I and who are not in the same or similar occupation must have 2 additional years of clerical experience.
Current employees who have served one year in the same or similar occupation are qualified for the next higher grade.
Definition – Clerical Experience & Job Related Experience:
•Clerical Experience: Included clerical work in an office or store, working with computers, bookkeeping, making and recording inventories, telephone marketing, arranging for events or as a cashier, etc.
•Job Related Experience: Experience in the same or similar line of work as the job for which considered. The experience must demonstrate that the applicant possesses the particular knowledge, skills and abilities required in the position. The predominant experience must have been gained at a comparable level of difficulty to the position to be filled.

•Position may be filled at the C-5A, C-06 or at the full performance level, C-6A. Incumbent may be non-competitively promoted to the next higher or full performance level in accordance with regulatory requirements, upon completion of required training, and recommendation of supervisor.
•This position is a Nonappropriated Fund Position.
•Must be a citizen of a NATO member state and must be able to establish residency with permission to work in Germany before or within the probationary period. As proof a current German residence permit must be presented. The failure to present a working permit will lead to the termination of employment during the probationary period or any time thereafter, when there is doubt that a working permit may be granted by the German authorities.
•Must present either a valid Police Good Conduct Certificate from the local resident registration office or a valid NATO and/or National Security clearance on initial appointment or reappointment after a break in service of a period longer than 6 months. Costs for the certificates are not reimbursable.
•Must be able to obtain and maintain a NATO Secret security clearance.
•Occasionally temporary duty travel (TDY) required.
•Regular and recurring teleworking possible.
•May be required to work weekends, holidays, and/or evenings.
•English level C1 required according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
