We are looking for a Medical Manager (m/f/d) Dermatology who is science-driven collaborative and patient-focused to join us in our affiliate based in Monheim am Rhein Germany.
This will be a fixed term contract for 12months to cover a maternity leave period.
About the role
As Medical Manager (m/f/d) Dermatology you will be responsible for strategic medical affairs projects and activities across Germany. Youll ensure a holistic patient value approach that benefits patients HCPs and payers as a core member of the Dermatology in-house Team in Germany reporting to the Medical Strategy Lead Dermatology.
Who you will work with
You will collaborate closely with cross functional stakeholders including the German Dermatology Team as well as the local and the EU Medical Team.
What you will do
- Drive a regular exchange within the local dermatology team and the EU Medical Dermatology Team on medical projects and activities in dermatology.
- Design implement and execute medical scientific strategies action plans and materials. Cocreate the annual brand and medical plan with a transversal team
- Adapt and regularly review the medical plans in partnership with the Medical Strategy Lead.
- Monitor budget and performance.
- Lead national scientific initiatives for all products and new indications (e.g. advisory boards steering committees Medical Education) in collaboration with Medical Strategy Lead and the field medical team.
- Ensure scientific appropriateness and consistency in all materials and solutions; drive continuous optimization including cross-therapeutic collaboration.
- Analyze and share key insights from the therapeutic area(s) to inform overall strategy and execution.
- Manage sponsorships donations clinical trials and medical scientific collaborations in line with compliance expectations.
Interested For this role were looking for the following education experience and skills
- Education: Masters degree in biomedical discipline like Biology Biochemistry Pharmacy or Medicine. PhD degree is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in German and English.
- Solid knowledge of the immune system; dermatology expertise is a plus.
- Strong analytical thinking and business acumen.
- Experience in (field) medical affairs is a plus.
