Job Opportunity: Clinical Psychologist Location: Stuttgart, Germany Start Date: Immediate Schedule: Full-Time (Monday through Friday) Minimum Qualifications: Degree: Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
Education: Graduate from an American Psychology Association accredited college or university with a v doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology.
Additional training is required for psychology specialties.
Refer to the DHA PM 6025.13, vol.
Internship/Residency: Successful completion from an internship in psychology accredited by the American Psychological Association.
Child Psychologist - Have at least two years’ experience providing family centered services to a population of young children with disabilities and their families, including diagnosis and treatment of sleeping, feeding, attachment, and other behavior disorders using behavior management and other techniques.
Preferred : Prior experience working with/or treating active duty service members and/or their family members and/or having a sound working knowledge of military culture.
Licensure: Are required to meet clinical competency requirements specified in the credentialing instruction.
CNACI Child Care National Agency Check with Inquiries is required for this position Core Duties: Practice within the guidelines of their state licensing board, American Psychological Association Ethical Principles and Code of Conduct, and MTF privileges.
Conduct psychological evaluations utilizing information from clinical interviews, psychological testing, and collateral sources, as appropriate.
Establish psychiatric diagnoses according to the American Psychiatric Association Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Disorders.
Provide psychological treatment for individuals and groups; help medical and surgical patients deal with illnesses or injuries.
Assist in rehabilitation of patients.
Administer and interpret psychological test measures.
Provide crisis intervention services and triage coverage to clinically assess Service Members in acute emotional distress.
Participate in interdisciplinary behavioral health treatment team to provide effective and efficient patient care for Service Members.
