About the Role :
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Technical Support Engineer fluent in German and English to join our global support team. You will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing Tier 1 technical assistance for our Web Application and API Protection (WAAP) and Network Security Platform . Your role will focus on troubleshooting technical issues, ensuring seamless service, and delivering excellent customer support experience.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide Tier 1 technical support via email and ticketing systems in both German and English
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to Linux systems, networking, firewalls, CDN, and Web Application Firewalls (WAF)
- Guide customers in configuring, optimizing, and maintaining their web and security solutions
- Collaborate with Tier 2 / 3 engineers to escalate and resolve complex or advanced issues
- Maintain accurate documentation for support cases and contribute to knowledge base articles
- Ensure clear and professional communication with customers, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
Required Qualifications :
2+ years of hands-on experience in technical support or systems / network administrationSolid foundation in Linux , networking concepts , HTTP / HTTPS , CDN , and basic web security principlesStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to work both independently and collaborativelyProficient in English (spoken and written)Basic proficiency in German is required (B1 level or above preferred)Nice to Have :
