Job Overview

Are you in your element when we speak about stocks indices and the structuring of new thematic equity investment strategies Do you follow the latest trends in the ETF and global stock markets Are you highly motivated to take on responsibility for projects combining your financial knowledge and technical skills while working independently as well as in a team A high customer orientation is an essential part of your personality Are you highly ambitious to push things forward and to participate in shaping the further path of the thematic equity indexing business Then you will very likely fit into our team!

Your Tasks

  • Developing and implementing innovative rules-based equity index methodologies together with our reputable global client base.
  • Translating emerging trends (e.g. AI Infrastructure Electrification Quantum Computing) into investable index strategies.
  • Developing historical performance simulations (back-testing) for defined investment strategies.
  • Conducting thematic market research to understand trends and opportunities to complement and enhance our index offering.
  • Supporting clients and internal stakeholders with technical and professional expertise in equity strategies.
  • Drafting index guidelines and supporting documents/analysis.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices in index development.

Your Profile

  • Academic degree in Economics Finance Business. Mathematics Engineering or comparable programs.
  • For Analysts relevant internships or initial experience in financial markets such as asset management investment banking capital markets consulting or FinTech.
  • For Associates at least 2 years of experience in the indexing business or other relevant fields (e.g. Portfolio Management or Structuring).
  • Strong interest in equity investment products.
  • Further proven programming skills in Python are essential.
  • Delivery of timely results with focus on high quality even when confronted with tight deadlines.
  • Self-confidence and team-spirit.
  • Intercultural competence and excellent communication skills in English.
