Your tasks

  • Technical project management: You will assume technical and content-related responsibility for overarching topics in electrical safety, protection, and grounding technology. This also includes the technical and economic execution of the projects.
  • Concept development & consulting: You will draft, update, and develop sound grounding and lightning protection concepts as well as maintenance instructions (also for projects involving multiple trades). Furthermore, you will provide expert advice to the electrotechnical sub-areas within the track infrastructure department.
  • Project organization: You are responsible for the comprehensive project preparation, organization, and structuring, as well as the continuous monitoring and control of the entire project process. In this context, you will be in constant communication with internal and external contacts.
  • Leadership & Control: You are responsible for leading and controlling the assigned project employees.
  • Quality assurance: They ensure that the specifications present during the planning and construction of industrial plants are taken into account.

Your profile

  • Qualification (must-have): You have successfully completed a degree in electrical engineering or a comparable field of study. Alternatively: You have successfully completed advanced training as a technician or master craftsman in electrical engineering.
  • Experience and know-how: You possess sound professional experience in project management and, essentially, in the specific trades of lightning protection and grounding technology . You are thoroughly familiar with the applicable regulations and current technical knowledge, including the relevant standards and codes.
  • Work style & personality: You value taking responsibility and making well-founded decisions. You always work in a structured and goal-oriented manner. Furthermore, you have a confident demeanor and excellent oral and written communication skills. Your personal commitment and resilience complete your profile.
  • Mobility & Flexibility: You hold a Class B driving licence. Business trips and the willingness to work occasional nights and weekends (e.g., during stationary traffic on the rail network) are a welcome change for you.
