Europe faces a critical challenge in securing a stable supply of these essential resources. This challenge is where EIT RawMaterials steps in. EIT RawMaterials is at the forefront of driving innovation and sustainability in the raw materials sector. As an Innovation Community within the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), we collaborate with over 300 partners across industry, academia, and research institutes. Together, we forge dynamic, long-term partnerships to develop innovative solutions that meet Europe's growing demand for raw materials. Position As an HR Working Student (m/f/d) with a focus on People Operations, you will support operational HR processes and ensure compliance across the employee lifecycle. You will work closely on topics such as payroll administration, HR documentation, policies, and data management, while contributing to audits, process improvements, and a smooth employee experience. Key Responsibilities Support payroll administration and preparation of relevant documentation Support maintenance of employee data in HR systems (HRIS) and ensure data accuracy Assist with employment documentation (contracts, certificates, letters) Help manage HR policies and ensure compliance Support health & safety processes and documentation Contribute to internal HR audits and optimisation projects Assist with HR workflows , ticketing systems, and inbox management Support operational onboarding and offboarding processes Assist with office management tasks Your Profile Enrolled in a degree in HR, Business, Law, or a related field Strong interest in HR operations, employment, and payroll Detail-oriented, structured, and reliable Strong organisational and communication skills Confident with MS Office (especially Excel); HRIS experience is a plus Fluent in English and German Level of Study: Candidates should be Bachelor’s or Master’s students with at least 1,5-2 full years remaining in their studies. Location: Berlin, Germany Nice to Have First experience in HR operations, payroll, or administration Basic knowledge of labour law or HR compliance Experience working with HR tools or ticketing systems Application Process Overview Application Review Our team carefully evaluates each application to ensure alignment with the role and our values. 📌 Please submit your CV in English.
