Buildings are the largest energy consumers in Europe making them CO₂ monsters. They account for 40% of our energy usage causing 36% of all EU CO₂ emissions. Thats why the decarbonization of buildings is essential for a sustainable future.

At VARM we are pushing insulation forward. We help our customers save up to 50% on their heating costs and decrease their CO₂ emissions. With this new financing round behind us and top-tier investors at our side were scaling fast and we need the right people to help us get there.

Tasks

  • You treat every project like your own startup: full ownership from idea to execution no hand-holding required
  • You operate confidently in ambiguity and build structure where none exists yet in a fast-growing climate-tech startup
  • You step out of your comfort zone to deliver robust results in short timeframes that exceed expectations

Requirements

  • You bring either 2-4 years of experience in a fast-paced start-up / scale-up environment consulting investment banking or VC or at least 2 years of experience founding and running your own company
  • You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills paired with a proactive hands-on mindset
  • You communicate fluently in both English and German written and verbal and can convey complex ideas concisely to different audiences
  • You thrive in a dynamic rapidly changing environment and are a self-starter with a high sense of ownership strong work ethic entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to work independently
  • You are passionate about contributing to our goal of energy-efficient buildings and a sustainable future
