Social Media Content Creator (German speaking)

Your mission is to put Lightspeed Hospitality on the map across Germany and the UK. You wont just be managing channels: youll launch our Instagram presence in Germany and expand our voice on LinkedIn and YouTube across Germany and the UK.

Working closely with Content Field Product PR and Regional Marketing teams youll turn priorities into compelling social storytelling. As both a story scout and brand gatekeeper youll uncover great hospitality stories while ensuring everything we publish is premium and impactful.

Youll be responsible for:

• Instagram launch & channel growth: Lead the launch of our Instagram channel in Germany while managing and growing our LinkedIn and YouTube presence across Germany and the UK.

• Content calendars: Execute the social media strategy and own the content calendars for Germany and the UK across LinkedIn Instagram and YouTube.

• Content production: Collaborate with internal teams to brief high-quality assets and be hands-on with short-form video creating content that feels native to each platform.

• Regional storytelling: Proactively connect with Hospitality clients to uncover unique stories. Lead creative ideation and bring forward concepts that deliver authentic scroll-stopping content.

• Community engagement: Youll be the voice of Lightspeed for our German and British communities answering comments and starting conversations.

• Performance monitoring: Youll use Hootsuite and Meta Business Suite to monitor performance and provide recommendations to improve our reach and growth.

• Workflow management: Use to track timelines and Jira to manage creative deliverables ensuring projects are delivered on time.

• Brand gatekeeping: Act as the final filter for organic social in your region ensuring everything we publish meets our premium brand and quality standards.

Experience

• 3 years of social media management experience ideally in SaaS tech or hospitality.

• Proven track record of managing multiple platforms - specifically LinkedIn Instagram and YouTube - and youre comfortable taking full ownership of a content calendar.

• Youve handled the end-to-end process before: from briefing and scripting to interviewing customers editing and hitting publish.

• You are a regular user of social media management and analytics tools (like Hootsuite) and are comfortable navigating Meta Business Suite.

• You have experience working cross-functionally with different teams and can manage multiple projects without losing track of the details.

• Tech savvy: Youre tech-savvy and know how to leverage AI social and video tools to scale content production and make your workflows more efficient.

• Story-teller: You dont just write captions; you tell stories. You have a knack for adapting your tone of voice to suit different platforms and audiences perfectly.

• Data-driven: You have a strong understanding of social metrics. You dont just look at the numbers; you translate them into clear actionable recommendations for the team.

• Trend expert: You stay on top of the latest platform updates social trends and hospitality industry news.

• Strategic Thinker: You always see the bigger picture. You know how to align your social media efforts with broader marketing goals to drive real business impact.

Even better if you have but not necessary:

• Experience launching or scaling social media channels (especially Instagram) in new markets.

• Experience working with influencer or creator collaborations.

• Affinity with the hospitality sector.

• Knowledge of Dutch is a strong plus.
