Currently, we are supporting a major project for our partner, a Berlin-based technology company. This partner requires better visibility into their internal operations and financial data. We are looking for a Junior Reporting Analyst to help us clean up their data structures and build reliable reporting tools that their leadership can trust. This is a full-time, permanent position and is strictly a remote role.

The role As a Junior Reporting Analyst, you will work directly with our senior consultants to support the Berlin-based technology partner. This is an entry-level position where you will be exposed to complex financial data and system architecture. Since this is a fully remote role, you will be expected to manage your schedule effectively and communicate clearly via written updates and video calls. You will spend your time digging through data sets, identifying errors, and helping to build out the front-end reports that the client uses every day.
What you will do - Support senior consultants in gathering requirements from the tech partner team.
- Clean and organize large datasets to ensure they are ready for system import.
- Assist in building and testing financial reports using Excel and modern BI tools.
- Write clear documentation and user guides for the systems we implement.
- Monitor data feeds for inconsistencies and perform basic troubleshooting.
- Participate in internal reviews to ensure all deliverables meet our standards for accuracy.
- Help prepare presentation materials that explain data findings to the client.
- Maintain the project knowledge base to ensure all configuration steps are recorded.
What we are looking for - A completed or nearly completed degree in Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong familiarity with Microsoft Excel, including the ability to use lookups and pivot tables.
- A basic understanding of how databases work and how data moves between systems.
- Excellent written English, as documentation is a core part of our handover process.
- A logical approach to problem solving and a high attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently in a remote environment without constant supervision.
- General interest in how businesses use data to make financial decisions.
- Comfortable learning new software tools and reporting platforms quickly.
