    JOB DESCRIPTION :

    • Oversee and grow the market intelligence function and lead one employee (on-site in Zuchwil, Switzerland) in this area, leveraging market intelligence to contribute to our category strategy. Connect with North American and Chinese team to circulate best practices and databases
    • Coordinate with teams within the business unit (e.g. product management, service and digital teams, market intelligence or sales) to identify category trends and translate them into customer relevant strategies
    • Identify the most attractive market segments, competitive landscape, and positioning opportunities to define a coffee category strategy
    • Ensure that customer insights, use cases and feedbacks are integrated into the product development process, and champion a customer-centric mindset among the team
    • Support product management, marketing and sales teams to plan product strategy and execute successful product launches
    • Ensure alignment and collaboration throughout the full product lifecycle, from launch to phase out, in particular between Product Management and Sales
    • Define a category management platform to promote to customers the right assortment (one stop shop), the right operational execution (in the kitchen / in the shop) and the right pricing, including total cost of ownership (levering our service and digital capabilities)
    • PROFILE :

    • Advanced studies / academic degree in Management, International Business, Marketing (or a similar degree)
    • Several years of experience in a similar field of work (experience at a consulting firm is a plus)
    • Ideally an analytical and data-driven, detail oriented, independent person with excellent communication and presentation skills
    • Willingness (and ability) to travel (mainly for internal purposes), especially to our sites in Germany and France
    • Excellent MS Office skills (in particular Excel and Power Point)
    • Fluent in English with very good German language skills (French is a plus)
