THE ROLE & THE TEAM

At Zalando Strategic Development Managers build a solid understanding of our business environment enabling us to make recommendations on company priorities and initiate their implementation to shape Zalandos future.

Our team mission is to drive the best customer experience and offering in the World of Sports on Zalando. As part of the internship within the Sports team you will be able to support the Business Development function by contributing to medium to large size strategic projects and help in the Go-To-Market process. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate high-level strategies into actionable

plans ensuring the successful execution of projects that align with Zalandos overall goals

The ideal candidate is strong in analytics communication stakeholder management and also has some basic e-commerce knowledge and is hands-on.

• Support Strategic Development Principal in cross-departmental projects from planning to execution

• Monitor project performance and key business metrics providing insights andrecommendations to refine strategies and improve outcomes

• Work closely with teams across commercial and supply as well as with functions such as ZMS or Content Solutions to ensure seamless coordination and execution of initiatives

WED LOVE TO MEET YOU IF

• Previous experience in the Fashion / e-commerce / consulting industry is a strong plus.

• Interest in trends innovations and an affinity for Sports

• Strong analytical thinking skills confident with numbers and Google workplace; result-driven and solution-oriented working style

• High level of teamwork and communication skills (excellent command of English) ability to work independently and commitment.

• Strong level of autonomy and decisiveness based on data

• Hands-on mentality enjoy working in a fast-paced environment dealing with many topics simultaneously and always thrive to find the best solution in the shortest possible time
