Senior CRM Specialist

About the opportunity

As a Senior CRM Specialist (Engagement & Retention) youll own the customer journey from month two onwards. Youll play a pivotal role in keeping our millions of users active engaged and thriving within the N26 ecosystem. This is a true 50/50 hybrid role: you will split your focus between driving high-level lifecycle strategy and rolling up your sleeves to execute campaigns natively. Youll join our high-performing CRM team in Berlin to solve our most critical retention and reactivation puzzles.

In this role you will:

Operational Excellence (50%)

• Execute multi-channel CRM campaigns employing a holistic approach to engage effectively with our customer base.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure the seamless delivery of complex campaigns leveraging your operational expertise.
• Champion adherence to established processes both within your role and among stakeholders to maximise campaign efficiency and operational excellence.
• Conceptualise set up and maintain automated communication workflows that support the achievement of CRM key performance indicators.

Analytic mastery

• Collaborate with data analytics and data engineers to ensure a data driven approach to your work.
• Utilise A/B testing methodologies to optimise campaign performance leveraging your technical and analytic proficiency.
• Own and report on the development of your KPIs.

Strategic Leadership (50%)

• Collaborate closely with the CRM team and seasoned CRM managers to conceptualise and plan new strategic campaigns that align with the companys overarching goals.
• Lead the implementation of these strategic initiatives leveraging your strategic insights and operational expertise to drive success.
• Apply data-driven insights and your understanding of customer segments to ensure targeted messaging and the achievement of strategic objectives.

What youll need to be successful:

• Bachelors degree in Marketing Business or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 3 years of experience in CRM roles
• Proven track record in CRM campaign execution and optimisation at a senior level.
• Strong technical skills including HTML SQL and A/B testing to ensure operational excellence.
• Proficiency in CRM tools to drive effective campaigns. Braze experience is a strong plus.
• Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyse and interpret campaign performance data.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to lead cross-functional teams effectively.
• Creative problem-solving ability combined with a strategic mindset to drive innovation in CRM initiatives.
• Experience with reactivation programs is a strong plus.
