Our partner is a Berlin-based technology firm currently undergoing a significant overhaul of their internal reporting and performance management systems. At Alpine Business Consulting, we have been brought in to ensure this transition results in a reliable, single source of truth for their finance and operations teams. We are looking for a Junior Digital Project Coordinator to support our senior consultants in managing the moving parts of this engagement.
About Alpine Business Consulting Alpine Business Consulting is a specialized team of experts who step in when enterprise reporting systems lose their way. We often see companies invest heavily in complex planning tools only to find that the implementation was rushed or poorly planned. This leaves teams struggling with data that does not match and reporting cycles that take weeks instead of days. Our consultants spend their time fixing these configurations or building new ones from the ground up.
We do not believe in vague advice or corporate buzzwords. We focus on transparency, fixed-price quotes, and creating documentation that clients can actually use once we finish our work. Our goal is to hand over a system that works predictably so the client can remain independent. We prioritize clean data and practical solutions over flashy presentations.
The role This is a full-time, permanent position that is fully remote. As a Junior Digital Project Coordinator, you will act as the organizational glue for our consulting projects. You will work closely with our senior leads to track project progress, organize technical documentation, and ensure that our Berlin-based technology partner remains updated on our milestones.
Because this is an entry-level role, we do not expect you to be an expert in Oracle EPM or SAP BPC. We do expect you to be highly organized and capable of managing administrative tasks with precision. You will see firsthand how complex business systems are configured and how large-scale digital transformations are managed from the inside.
What you will do - Maintain project timelines and ensure all task statuses are updated in our tracking tools.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings between our consultants and the technical teams at our partner firm.
- Document meeting minutes and distribute clear action items to the relevant team members.
- Assist consultants in gathering requirements and organizing client data for system configuration.
- Help draft and format handover documentation and user guides for the client teams.
- Monitor project folders to ensure all documentation is saved, named correctly, and accessible.
- Support the preparation of weekly progress reports for both internal and client stakeholders.
- Verify that final project deliverables align with the initial project scope and requirements.
What we are looking for - A completed degree or diploma in business, project management, IT, or a related field.
- The ability to communicate clearly and professionally in written and spoken English.
- A high level of comfort using spreadsheets and basic project management software.
- A strong attention to detail, especially when it comes to formatting documents and tracking dates.
- A genuine interest in how businesses use data and technology to make decisions.
- A reliable work ethic and the ability to manage your own schedule in a remote setting.
- Basic familiarity with digital collaboration tools like Slack, Zoom, or similar platforms.
- A practical, problem-solving mindset that prefers direct answers over vague explanations.
What we offer This position provides a strong foundation for a career in project management or business consulting. You will work directly with senior consultants who have years of real-world experience in the field. This is a fully remote role, allowing you to work from your own environment without the need for commuting or office presence. We value a predictable workload and respect personal time, focusing on getting the job done right rather than working unnecessary hours.
The position is paid, and the compensation is competitive for an entry-level role in the consulting market. You will have the opportunity to learn about complex financial systems and the methodology behind successful enterprise software implementations. We provide the training and support needed to help you move from coordination into more technical or strategic consulting roles over time.
