We are currently seeking a District Manager / Regional Sales Manager for Pharmacy Sales (m/f/d) for our renowned pharmaceutical client in Southern Germany ( coverage area: Munich, Ulm, Augsburg, Nuremberg to Stuttgart). In this role, you will be responsible for leading the sales team, managing sales of the generic drug portfolio, and ensuring sustainable revenue growth in your region.

Your tasks
Employee management & coaching: Open and appreciative management of approximately 9 field staff including active field coaching (supported by internal trainers).
Sales management (80% Rx / 20% OTC): Management of the promotion of the generics portfolio with a focus on cardiovascular, neurology and oncology .
Strategic flexibility: Agile leadership of the team through quarterly changing indication and therapy focus areas.
Sales responsibility: Achieving sales targets while taking into account discount agreements, creating sales concepts, and conducting market and competitive analyses.
Event management: Organization and management of regional conferences, meetings and training events.
Your profile
Qualification: Completed pharmacy studies (pharmacist) desirable, alternatively another natural science degree or the qualification according to § 75 AMG.
Field sales experience: Several years of practical experience in direct sales to pharmaceutical pharmacies.
Rx & Generic Knowledge: Sound knowledge of the Rx sector and the German generic market (especially discount contracts and substitution exclusion) is absolutely essential.
Leadership skills: Initial practical leadership experience (e.g. as a team leader) in the development and coaching of field staff is desirable.
Indication flexibility: Experience in various indications or the agility to quickly adapt to changing focus areas ( cardiovascular, neuro, oncology ).
Language skills: Fluent German and very good English skills.
Mobility: Residence within the sales territory (e.g. Munich, Ulm, Augsburg, Nuremberg) and a high willingness to travel.
