What you can expect
About the role
At CordenPharma, we are looking for an experienced Global IT Project Manager with a strong focus on IT Infrastructure projects across our international manufacturing network. In this highly visible role, you will lead and coordinate complex global initiatives involving infrastructure, cloud technologies, networks, data centers, end-user computing, and cybersecurity services. Working closely with stakeholders across multiple sites and functions, you will ensure the successful delivery of business-critical infrastructure solutions that enable operational excellence, scalability, security, and future business growth.
Strategic Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate global IT application rollouts across multiple international sites.
- Drive project governance, risk management, and stakeholder alignment.
- Partner with senior leadership and Steering Committees to ensure project transparency and strategic direction.
- Actively contribute to the continuous development of the Global IT PMO, including project management methodologies, standards, templates, tools, and deliverables.
- Promote best practices and continuous improvement across the global project portfolio.
- Ensure compliance with GxP requirements and validated system environments.
Operational Responsibilities
- Manage multiple concurrent IT projects from initiation through deployment.
- Establish project plans, timelines, milestones, budgets, and reporting structures.
- Support and mentor local project managers and project teams.
- Coordinate internal resources, external partners, and consulting vendors.
- Identify, assess, mitigate, and escalate project risks and issues.
- Facilitate effective collaboration between business functions, IT teams, and manufacturing sites worldwide.
- Ensure successful implementation and adoption of new systems and processes.
To successfully master this role, we are looking for the following qualifications:
Education & Experience
- Degree in Information Management, Business Administration, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Multiple years of experience managing international IT implementation projects within manufacturing, pharmaceutical, or regulated environments
- Proven track record delivering global application rollouts and transformation initiatives.
- Experience working with third-party vendors and consultancy partners.
Technical & Professional Skills
- Understanding GxP-regulated environments and related IT requirements is an advantage.
- Experience implementing compliant IT and OT systems within manufacturing and supply chain operations.
- Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to drive projects in a complex international matrix organization.
- Fluent English and German; additional languages are an advantage.
