Junior Copywriter | Job description

We are looking for a Junior Copywriter who is excited by ideas, language and modern brand communication.
In this role, you will work within an interdisciplinary creative team to develop concepts, headlines and copy for campaigns across digital, social, film, CRM, print and experiential channels. You will collaborate closely with experienced copywriters, art directors, strategists, account managers, motion designers and UX specialists.
We are not only looking for someone who can write well. We are looking for a curious creative thinker who wants to understand brands, audiences and culture—and turn those insights into clear, relevant and memorable communication.

Your responsibilities

• Support the development of creative concepts and campaign ideas based on client briefs and strategic insights.
• Help translate central campaign ideas into communication assets across different channels and formats.
• Write and edit headlines, short and long-form copy, social media content, websites, newsletters, mailings, scripts, radio copy, advertisements, presentations and campaign guidelines.
• Adapt copy to different audiences, platforms, markets and stages of the customer journey.
• Help develop and maintain distinctive, consistent brand voices.
• Collaborate closely with art direction, strategy, account management, motion, UX and production teams.
• Participate actively in brainstorms, creative reviews and concept-development sessions.
• Support the preparation of client presentations, pitches and award submissions.
• Present your ideas internally and gradually build confidence in presenting to clients.
• Research products, audiences, competitors and cultural trends to strengthen your creative work.
• Review and proofread copy to ensure it is accurate, consistent and aligned with the brief.
• Respond constructively to feedback and refine your work together with senior creatives.
• Support international projects and coordinate copy requirements with colleagues and markets across Europe.

What you bring

• Up to two years of relevant experience in copywriting, advertising, content creation or communications. Internships, freelance projects and university work are welcome.
• A portfolio that demonstrates your writing ability, creativity and interest in conceptual work.
• Excellent written and spoken German, with strong attention to grammar, style and tone.
• Good professional English, as you will work in an international environment.
• A genuine enthusiasm for developing ideas—not only executing text assignments.
• The ability to write both concise, attention-grabbing copy and well-structured longer content.
• An understanding of digital platforms, social media and contemporary brand communication.
• Curiosity about people, culture, technology and emerging communication trends.
• Openness to feedback and a strong desire to learn from experienced team members.
• A collaborative mindset and confidence contributing your perspective to creative discussions.
• Good organisational skills, reliability and the ability to manage several assignments and deadlines.
• Care, accuracy and a strong eye for detail.

Nice to have

• Initial agency experience or experience working with creative and design teams.
• Familiarity with automotive, mobility, technology or lifestyle brands.
• Basic knowledge of UX writing, CRM, SEO or content-management systems.
• Experience creating scripts, social-first ideas or campaign concepts.
• Interest in creative technology and responsible use of AI-supported tools.
