Senior Web Administrator and Team Leader (all genders)
Your Responsibilities:
- Personnel and Technical Responsibility: After a training period (at least six months) under the CTO, you will also take on the role of team lead for the Web Services division. You will lead and develop team members while continuing to contribute both hands-on and strategically.
- Operation and monitoring of web systems: Together with your team, you will ensure the stable and reliable operation of web services and interfaces.
- Maintenance, Support, and Further Development of Systems: You will work closely and constructively with the development management team. You will reliably execute releases, configuration changes, and updates; take proactive action in response to system anomalies (e.g., performance, logs, monitoring alerts); and drive optimizations forward.
- Incident and Failure Management: You identify, address, and analyze acute system failures early on and in a structured manner.
- AI, Automation, and Scripting: The deliberate use of AI tools is second nature to you. You create, test, and maintain scripts (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Python) in a stable and traceable manner to simplify operational workflows.
- Collaboration: You’ll work in an open, solution-oriented, and collegial team environment, including voluntarily taking on paid weekend on-call shifts. To ensure you can optimally carry out your tasks across teams, your primary presence in the office is essential. Face-to-face interaction makes it easier for you to effectively support processes, respond quickly to challenges, and provide valuable input.
Your Profile:
- You hold a degree in IT and have several years of leadership experience.
- You provide targeted professional development for employees, excel in communication, and foster cross-departmental collaboration.
- You act responsibly, are solution-oriented, and remain composed—even under time pressure and during disruptions and incidents.
- You have practical experience in the operation, optimization, and further development of highly available IT systems and mission-critical business applications in a web services environment.
- You bring experience in analyzing and optimizing operational processes, release management, and IT service management. Knowledge of disaster recovery testing and interface technologies rounds out your profile.
- You have practical experience or in-depth knowledge of modern DevOps and platform technologies, particularly Docker, Kubernetes, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), automation (Bash, Python, PowerShell), CI/CD (e.g., Git, GitLab / GitHub), and monitoring and logging solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK / OpenSearch).
- You have a very good command of both spoken and written German and English.
Your satisfaction is our success—our benefits for you:
