Your tasks

In this exciting position we are looking for an experienced business intelligence and data analyst with the following key responsibilities:

• Create automated visual dashboards in Power BI required from CBS business teams and build data visualization reports and tools for self-service consumption of data
• Analyze and validate data to ensure high data quality and reliable insights
• Resolve data / reporting issues through configuration, data cleansing, de-duplication, consolidation and rationalisation of reporting requirements where appropriate
• Translate business requirements from business users into design specifications and data modelling
• Build and maintain Semantic and data models
• Build & maintain relationships with business functions/IT/countries and consultants.
• Partner with business teams/stakeholders to improve data assets, quality, metrics and insights.
• Support the business intelligence strategy and monitor stakeholders’/countries’ effort to fall in line with the overall strategy
• Support collecting reporting requirements and organize BI trainings with CBS countries and business functions

Our requirements

• University degree in mathematics, computer science, statistics or business, logistics with focus on analytics or relevant work experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Power BI, dashboard development, and data visualization including DAX and Power Query.
• Solid understanding of data modeling, data transformation, and reporting architectures.
• Knowledge of Tabular Editor, SQL, data warehousing concepts, and ETL processes is a plus.
• Experience with Databricks and modern cloud-based data platforms is a plus
• Independent, structured and goal-oriented way of working and enthusiasm for cooperation within a dynamic team
• Passion for data, analytics, and continuous learning.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high degree of logical thinking.
• Very good communication skills as well as commitment and resilience
• Intercultural competence, e.g. through a longer stay abroad in previous professional positions, during studies or through relevant work experience
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Fluent English language skills. Any European language is a plus
