Your tasks
Main tasks:
• Building and maintaining sustainable business relationships with relevant decision-makers in defined top accounts for the biosimilar portfolio (e.g. pharmacists, buyers, doctors, controllers, administration)
• Development and implementation of strategic account plans based on customer potential.
• Development of pricing and terms strategies for each customer group in compliance with legal and internal requirements – in close coordination with regional sales management, market access and BU Head Biosimilars
• Conducting contract and price negotiations as well as creating and maintaining offers/contracts in Vistex (including monitoring renewal deadlines).
• Conducting market and competitive analyses to identify opportunities/risks and derive appropriate measures
• Regular reporting to management and interface functions on relevant developments in the managed accounts
• Coordination and close collaboration with internal interfaces within MU Germany (especially national CAM and clinical sales force) for optimal account management.
Secondary tasks:
• Documentation of customer visits in the CRM, provision of validated planning/coordination information (e.g., GSIS, Vistex, SAP) and central document management (including contract storage)
• Participation in internal events (e.g., Biosimilars General Conference) as well as external events (e.g., congresses, conferences)
Your profile
- Training or qualifications related to the healthcare market are required, supplemented by further training as a pharmaceutical representative ; business administration training is an advantage.
- Very good understanding of the national health system (e.g., reimbursement processes in hospitals) and the German supply structures (pharmacies, clinics, retail)
- Sound knowledge of the AMPreisV (German Drug Price Ordinance)
- Experience in the pharmaceutical/healthcare sector with a demonstrable, sustainable track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Confident use of Office 365 – especially Excel tools – as well as CRM-based systems
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in German , both written and spoken; knowledge of English is an advantage.
- Strong sales orientation and negotiation skills – with the ambition to continuously develop oneself and to live agility and flexibility in everyday work.
